Feel like a child again with every “slurp” you take of this fun and fruity concoction.

Serves 4; 1 cup per serving II Preparation time: 5 minutes

  • 1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened mixed berries or whole hulled strawberries
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice (blueberry-pomegranate preferred)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1-1/2 cups diet ginger ale

In a blender, process the berries, juice, and ice cubes until smooth. Stir in the ginger-ale. Serve immediately.

Creamy Slurp

In a blender, process 3/4 cup fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt with the berries, juice and ice cubes, as directed above. Reduce the amount of ginger ale to 3/4 cup and stir it into the mixture. Serves 4; 1 cup per serving.

Cook’s tip:

Don’t add the ginger ale to the blender with the other ingredients. The carbonation will pop the top off the blender.
