My taste-testers loved this delicious vitamin C-rich smoothie. You can’t go wrong with this combination of strawberries, kiwifruit and mango juice. One serving of this smoothie contains more then twice the recommended daily intake of vitamin C.
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup 100% pure mango juice
- 1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt or soy yogurt
- 2 kiwifruit, peeled
- 4 ice cubes, optional
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Serve chilled.
Per 1-1/4 cup serving: 166 calories, 5 g protein, 1 g total fat, 0 g saturated fat, 38 g carbohydrates, 4 g fibre, 1 mg cholesterol, 53 mg sodium
