Nothing says summer like a basketful of fresh, locally grown blueberries. If you don’t have fresh blueberries on hand, frozen berries work just as well.
- 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 2 small bananas
- 2 cups (500 ml) low-fat milk or soy milk
In a blender, combine blueberries, bananas and mil. Puree until smooth. Serve cold.
Per 1-1/2 cups (375 ml) serving: 228 calories, 10 g protein, 3 g total fat, (2 g saturated fat), 44 g carbohydrates, 3 g fibre, 10 mg cholesterol, 125 mg sodium
